Geocache Description:

The city of Mt. Juliet is working hard at building a solid greenway network. This cache is on the Cedar Creek Greenway, a non-contiguous greenway with several upcoming expansion projects with the hopes of covering the entire Cedar Creek span within the city limits in the coming years.

This series of caches live along MJ greenways and are a tribute to my favorite childhood author Shel Silverstein, each one named after a different poem of his. The series is names after one of his bestselling books, Where the Sidewalk Ends. Published in 1974 for children, it contained profanity and lewd subject matter and was banned in many libraries and schools but is recognized today as a popular book for children.

This is the first cache in this series, names after the book itself.

Due to copyright provisions here I cannot share the text of the poem but I encourage you to go and have a read.

The cache is a small glass vial. You will walk a short distance off the end of the greenway along the creek.

There is a parking waypoint associated with this cache. Please consider using this parking lot, this is the closest public parking lot. There are some other access points within the Jackson Hills neighborhoods but neither one has a parking lot. If you do us one of these access points, please be respectful of the homeowners near this cache.
