Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Penticton Tricachelon. It is a grueling game with three challenging “events”: Mystery (GC8GR0Q), Traditional (GC8G90A), and Multi (GC8K8GM). You must complete all three “events” to cross the finish line and get the bonus cache (GC8GCBE). Each of the cache “events” holds clues to the location of the bonus cache.

Tom Ellis was an influencial founding father of Penticton. Arriving in the Valley which was home to First Nations people, the 20 year old Irishman and his partner became the first white settlers in the area in 1866. He became a cattle baron and his well known ranch was a stop over for travelers. He established a trading post, post office and the first Protestant church with his wife. Penticton township was later established on his land and his homestead was located on what is now Windsor Avenue.
