Beachport Slipway Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Davidwazza: Given the damp logbook and my inability to perform maintenance since I no longer reside in South Australia, I am archiving the cache to free up the area.
The cache was initially and cleverly hidden in a small beacon, but that was damaged/removed six months following publication, so it has since just been a simple hanging bison.

Past logs also suggest that there are two bisons at GZ. Archived cache hunters are welcome to trying their luck as I don't have the means to remove the container at the current time, thanks all.

Geocache Description:

The Beachport boatyard is the winter haven of about a third of the Southern Zone professional lobster fleet.

It is owned by the State Government's Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure and managed under contract by Wattle Range Council.

This cache has been placed within the vicinity of the slipway.

You may choose to park your vehicle in the main boat ramp car park, or otherwise there is a 4WD access track that follows the shipyard perimeter, directly to the slipway and secluded beach.
