Located near Kings County Academy, the Hub is the centre of field sports, with rental opportunities for workshops, parties, and family gatherings. It’s also summer camp central, with kids of all ages enjoying days at camp! Kids love the large deck for playing pirates, and the playground for playing tag. Being next to the trail system it is great stop or destination while using the trail system.

Before 1921, believe it or not, there were no dedicated grounds in the town for athletic purposes. For a time games were played at Aldershot, but the need for grounds nearer the town was clear. Professor W.S. Blair and Mr. G.C. Roy suggested that the town purchase the present property on Park Street. In 1921 a Memorial Park Commission was formed. The work of clearing the land and fencing the grounds began.
