Maasmechelen Village is een outletshoppingcentrum in Maasmechelen.
Het winkelcomplex bestaat uit een grote niet overdekte winkelstraat, met enkele kleinere dwarse winkelstraatjes.
Met deze letterbox “Maasmechelen Village” kan je een dagje shoppen combineren met geocaching. De antwoorden op de gestelde vragen kan je enkel vinden tijdens de openingsuren van het winkelcomplex, elke dag vanaf 10u00 tot 19u00.
De cache zelf vindt je buiten het domein van het winkelcomplex, maar wel op relatief korte afstand ervan. Het hele traject is rolstoeltoegankelijk, met uitzondering van de laatste 5 meter.

Vraag 1: hoeveel gouden sterren tel je boven het logo?

Wandel het winkelcomplex binnen tot aan het eerste kruispunt. Rechts van je zie je een grote vierkantige toren met een grote klok op de zijgevel. Enkele meters onder deze klok zie je een aantal driehoekjes.
Vraag 2: hoeveel driehoekjes tel je op deze gevelzijde?

Vanaf hier wandel je 25 meter verder tot bij de twee zware toegangspoorten in het midden van de winkelstraat.
Vanaf hier (en niet eerder) start je met het tellen van alle lantaarnpalen in het midden van de winkelstraat (zowel de hoofdstraat als de zijstraten), tot op het einde ervan. Opgelet: tijdens het tellen van de lantaarnpalen, ga je ook op zoek naar het antwoord op de overige vragen!

Wandel verder. In de bocht, neem je de zijstraat naar rechts. Enkele meters verder arriveer je bij het Tourist Information Centre. Rechts van de inkomdeur zie je een bordje met een wit kruis op een gekleurde achtergrond.

From here (and not before) you start counting all the lampposts in the middle of the shopping street (both the main street and the side streets) until the end. Pay attention: while counting the number of lampposts, you will also have to find an answer on the other questions!
