Le Fort de Fléron est un des 12 forts composant la position fortifiée de Liège à la fin du XIXe siècle en Belgique. Il fut construit entre 1881 et 1891 selon les plans du Général Brialmont. Contrairement aux forts français, il fut entièrement construit avec du béton non renforcé, nouveau matériau pour l'époque, plutôt qu'en maçonnerie. Le fort fut lourdement bombardé lors de la Première Guerre mondiale durant la bataille de Liège ainsi qu'au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il a été modernisé dans les années 1930.
Le fort a été détruit presque complètement il y a quelques années pour permettre la construction d'une cité.
Seul un morceau du mur du coffre de tête est encore visible (avec une plaque commémorative) le long de la route N3 Fléron-Herve.
Subsistent également : la tour d'air du fort (1940) - entrée actuelle du fort - et une partie des locaux souterrains.
Depuis début 2001, par sécurité, les visites du fort de Fléron ne sont plus possibles.

The Fort de Fléron is one of twelve forts built as part of the Fortifications of Liège in the late 19th century in Belgium. It was built between 1881 and 1891 according to the plans of General Henri Alexis Brialmont. Contrasting with the French forts, the fort was built exclusively of unreinforced concrete, a new material, rather than masonry. The fort was heavily bombarded by German artillery in the Battle of Liège. Fléron was upgraded in the 1930s to become part of the fortified position of Liège in an attempt to forestall or slow an attack from Germany.
The fort was almost completely destroyed a few years ago to allow the construction of a city.
Only a piece of the wall of the headbox is still visible (with a commemorative plaque) along the N3 Fléron-Herve road.
Also remaining are : the fort's air tower (1940) - the fort's current entrance - and part of the underground premises.
Since early 2001, for safety reasons, visits to the Fort de Fléron have no longer been possible.
