Schneewittchen
Es war einmal da saß eine Königin am Fenster, das einen schwarzen Rahmen aus Ebenholz hatte, und näht. Versehentlich stach sie sich mit der Nähnadel in den Finger. Als sie drei Blutstropfen in den Schnee fallen sieht, denkt sie: „Hätt’ ich ein Kind, so weiß wie Schnee, so rot wie Blut und so schwarz wie das Holz an dem Rahmen!“Ihr Wunsch erfüllt sich, und sie bekommt eine Tochter, die Schneewittchen genannt wird.
Nach der Geburt stirbt die Königin, und der König nimmt sich eine neue Gemahlin. Diese ist sehr schön, aber eitelund böse. Sie kann es nicht ertragen, an Schönheit übertroffen zu werden. Als Schneewittchen sieben Jahre alt ist, nennt der sprechende und allwissende Spiegel der bösen Königin Schneewittchen und nicht sie die Schönste im ganzen Land. Von Neid geplagt, beauftragt die Stiefmutter einen Jäger, das Kind in den Wald zu bringen.
Es kommt zu einem Häuschen der siebten Zwerge. Schneewittchen darf bleiben, wenn es die Hausarbeiten verrichtet. Schneewittchen willigt ein und ist nun tagsüber immer alleine, weswegen die Zwerge das Mädchen vor der Stiefmutter warnen und es ermahnen, niemanden hereinzulassen.
Die Stiefmutter merkt das Schneewittchen sich hinter den sieben Bergen im Haus der sieben Zwerge versteckt. Dreimal verkleidet sich nun die Königin als Händlerin und bietet dem Mädchen unerkannt Waren an, mittels derer sie ihm das Leben nehmen will: Einen Schnürriemen zurrt sie so eng, dass Schneewittchen zu ersticken droht, einen Haarkamm und schließlich die rote Hälfte eines Apfels präpariert sie mit Gift. Jedes Mal lässt sich Schneewittchen täuschen und von den schönen Dingen betören, sodass es sie annimmt und wie tot hinfällt. Die ersten beiden Male können die Zwerge Schneewittchen ins Leben zurückholen, indem sie Riemen und Kamm entfernen. Beim dritten Mal finden sie die Ursache nicht und halten das Mädchen für tot.
Weil es so schön ist, legen sie es in einen gläsernen Sarg. Eines Tages reitet ein Königssohn vorüber und verliebt sich in die scheinbar tote Prinzessin. Er bittet die Zwerge, ihm den Sarg mit der schönen Königstochter zu überlassen, da er nicht mehr ohne ihren Anblick leben könne. Aus Mitleid geben die Zwerge ihm schweren Herzens Schneewittchen.
Doch als der Sarg auf sein Schloss getragen wird, stolpert einer der Diener, und der Sarg fällt zu Boden. Durch den Aufprall rutscht das giftige Apfelstück aus Schneewittchens Hals. Sie erwacht, und der Prinz und Schneewittchen halten Hochzeit.

Once upon a time a queen sat by the window, which had a black ebony frame, sewing. She accidentally stuck her sewing needle in her finger. When she sees three drops of blood falling in the snow, she thinks: "If I had a child, as white as snow, as red as blood and as black as the wood on the frame!" Her wish is fulfilled and she has a daughter who is called Snow White.
After the birth, the queen dies and the king takes a new wife. It is very beautiful, but vain and evil. She cannot bear to be surpassed in beauty. When Snow White is seven years old, the talking and omniscient mirror calls the evil queen Snow White and not the most beautiful in the whole country. Plagued by envy, the stepmother instructs a hunter to take the child into the forest.
A house of the seventh dwarfs appears. Snow White may stay if she does the housework. Snow White agrees and is now always alone during the day, which is why the dwarfs warn the girl about the stepmother and warn her not to let anyone in.
The stepmother realizes that Snow White is hiding behind the seven mountains in the house of the seven dwarfs. The queen disguises herself three times as a trader and offers the girl undetected goods that she wants to use to kill him: she tightens a laces so tightly that Snow White threatens to suffocate, a hair comb and finally the red half of an apple she prepares with poison. Every time Snow White is fooled and bewitched by the beautiful things, so that it accepts them and falls as if dead. For the first two times, the Dwarfs can bring Snow White back to life by removing straps and comb. The third time they don't find the cause and think the girl is dead.
Because it's so beautiful, put it in a glass coffin. One day a king's son rides past and falls in love with the apparently dead princess. He asks the dwarfs to give him the coffin with the beautiful king's daughter, since he can no longer live without her sight. Out of pity, the dwarves give him Snow White with a heavy heart.
But when the coffin is carried to his castle, one of the servants stumbles and the coffin falls to the ground. The impact causes the poisonous piece of apple to slip out of Snow White's neck. She wakes up and the prince and Snow Maiden are getting married.
