Maintenance work on the Bowen Road bridge, which incidentally was built in 1952, has been an ongoing thing for a while.
Strengthening and repairing the undermined support columns has to be carried out, especially since the once in 100 year event that saw the dam fill to 248% capacity in February 2019 which saw the gates automatically open turning this section of river so much wider than it is now. Water levels even reached the traffic lights down at the University and even across to Ross River Road in Mundingburra. So you can imagine what this bridge had to contend with. That flooding has caused much heartache for those flooded..
People are being herded by fencing, creating a pigpen of sorts to keep the workers contained or the locals clear of works under the bridge.
I've hidden a cache outside of that work zone, somewhere on or under the bridge with this easy puzzle to guide you to it
Congrats to burgo78 for the FTF<\p>
