There used to be a huge $1.2 million mansion in this field. Now all you can see are neat piles of stone and a pile of dirt (covered with grass). The Mansion had been up for sale for quite a while and then... it was gone! That was in 2017. Very mysterious - very little activity has occurred. Sometimes there is a little tractor or a trailer but overall, the field does not change. I want to share my mystery with you, my fellow geocachers. If you have any thoughts about my quandry, I would love to hear them. Regardless, This is a nice and easy geocache so I can share my empty field with all of you.
*** Do not park in the driveway. Do not go beyond the stone wall as this is Private Property. The Geocache container is not in or around the stonewall - so please do not disturb the stone wall.
Safety Caution - Route 156 is VERY BUSY during the summer. Please pull onto the shoulder and be very aware of the traffic.
