It's Loop Year...er, Leap Year in the Loop, and SOMEONE has to host an event on February 29. MIght as well be me, EstesLynne.
So, whether you're a local or visiting this great city from far, far away, come on over between 12:30 and 1:30 PM to say hi. Bundle up, bring your geo-stories and trackables, and get your smiley and the coveted Leap Day souvenir. It's your once-every-four-years chance to fill in February 29 on your caching calendar.
The location is just northeast of our famous Bean, otherwise known as Cloud Gate. This is an outdoor location, so if the weather is very, very horrible, there's only so long your host will stand around out there. On the other hand, if the weather is very, very horrible, this might be the easiest and most reliable way to score a cache on this important day...so come on down!
(For non-locals--technically, this location isn't in the Loop proper. But, it's really, really close.)
