Many of the fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm are well known today. Several have been adapted into Disney movies, while others are classic children's stories. However, they've evolved over the years, and often, the modern versions are a far cry from the originals.
Rapunzel is a very well known Grimm Tale, pretty much everyone knows the line, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!" The more familiar adaptations have a lot in common with the original tale, but there are still a few surprises. Did you know that rapunzel is actually an edible plant? It has parsnip-like roots and all parts of it are edible.
