Emma and Oliver's cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

On June 25, 2019, a young lass from California used a GPS-spoofing software to change her phone's location to England. She wanted to talk to cute guys with blue eyes, brown hair, and British accents-- but never did she imagine an afternoon of boredom would bring her to meet the love of her life in person, on this day, across an ocean of distance and eight hours of time.

This cache, hidden on Valentine's Day, marks the spot where Oliver first saw his Emma after nearly EIGHT months of talking EVERY DAY-- different time zones, full-time jobs, and that ocean of distance no barrier. A visit to Emma and Oliver's cache will delight the geocacher with a cobblestone-paved mews, tucked away in an alley behind the hotels where the couple stayed. From the exact spot of the cache, if you face the main street with all the hotels, you can see the rightmost column of Linden House-- and almost imagine Emma leaning up against it, waiting to embrace the love she had known for so long for the very first time.

Please don't remove the wooden locket in the cache as it is a special symbol for us!
