TWC - Satellite

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. To obtain the coordinates, solve the puzzle below.

This puzzle is a Nonogram (also known as a Picross, Crosspix, Griddler, Hanjie, or Paint By Numbers puzzle).

The aim of a Nonogram is to paint a picture using numbers relating to each of the rows and columns.

The numbers indicate how many squares of that colour are grouped together in a row or column.

White is the traditional background colour of a Nonogram, so white squares are not numbered (otherwise it would be way too easy just filling in every square).

Where there are two numbers of the same colour listed next to each other, it means there will be one or more white squares in between those coloured squares.

The ideal Nonogram only has one solution and can be solved by logic.

When you have solved the puzzle, the final co-ordinates will appear below the puzzle.

Tips for Solving

  1. The grid for this puzzle is 20 x 20. Check for any rows or columns where the numbers add up to 20.
  2. If you see two numbers of the same colour next to each other, there must be at least one white square in between them. For example, if a row has 2-blue, immediately followed by 3-blue, this sequence must cover a minimum of 6 squares, with at least one white space in between the blue.
  3. Where you can, work in from the edges of the grid. For example, if you have determined that the first square in a row is purple, but the first number for that row is purple-6, then your next step would be to colour those 6 squares in purple.
  4. Sometimes you can fill some of the squares in a run of spaces. For example, if you have 4 blank squares to fill, and the number guide says red-3, then the middle two of those four squares must be red.
  5. Five squares have been given for starters to help a little.
  6. Remember, this is a logic puzzle.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
