SX20 10 Windmill Wander - Help!
The Windmill Wander series of 14 caches are hidden in the area close to the Clayton Windmills, Jack and Jill, with great views over the South Downs. None of the caches are at their given coordinates, the final coordinates for this one can be found by playing the associated Wherigo cartridge.
This is a Play Anywhere Wherigo - play before visiting the area
This will not work on a Garmin GPS - it must be played on a smartphone.
The aim of this Wherigo is to rescue the hero or heroine, your choice, from a tower. They are protected by three castles each larger and further away from the one before it. You will have to bombard the castles using a variety of weapons until the captive is released, at which time the cache location will be revealed. You will probably be some distance from the final location so save the game and restart it when you are close to the final.
This Wherigo is a Play Anywhere game. You just need an open space with about 60m (200 feet) in one direction from the point where you start the cartridge (allow the gps to settle first). Ideally find a straight path with no tree cover as the start and end points of your travels are used to determine the distance and direction in which the missiles will travel. Having a defined straight path means that it is easier to keep walking in the same direction. I suggest you wait a few seconds to let the gps settle before you mark the start and end of your travels.
I have rated this as Terrain 2, because the cache itself is located in a position that would be difficult to reach from a wheelchair. However, as you can choose the terrain for the rest of the cartridge it should be possible for a wheelchair user to run the cartridge.

The cache, a 60ml double potted container, is not at the given coordinates. To find the location of the cache you will need to undertake the Wherigo, which should only take about 30 minutes.
Having played the game you can either note the coordinates and hint, and search for the cache using your normal caching software, or save the cartridge until you are in the area and then find the cache using Wherigo.
Download the Help! cartridge.
