I grew up riding the miniature trains at Kuirau park in Rotorua. After living here for 10 years I only discovered this venue when my children were little and we visited a public day to ride the trains. A perfect spot for a great geocache. I had a couple of ideas and decided this spot was best.
Access to this part of the park is only when the Hamilton Model Engineers club are not operating. This impressive structure is not visible unless you are riding the trains, a nice little surprise.
Good parking access down Minogue drive. After the last two muggled and TB lost, cache is now a camoed eclipse tin. Log only. Will need sharp eyes in dim light!
