Geocache Description:

The Colo River Grumpy® Power Trail

Hope you're not grumpy, cheer up; you are getting closer to the end. Hang in there!

The Colo River

The Colo River is a well kept secret mainly known by locals and regular visitors. The river is unique as it is a pristine and wild river on the border of Sydney, only 1.5 hours (65kms) from the CBD.

The name “Colo” is derived from the aboriginal word for Koala.

The river was one of the first explored following white settlement of Australia and has a long history that is of significance to the local aborigines and the white settlers alike. It is the home of bass and platypus.

The river descends 214 metres over its 86-km course, and is fantastic for canoeing, bushwalking and swimming.

Enjoy!

The Grumpy® puzzle

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.

The Postman went paddling down the Colo to deliver a mysterious letter. The reverse of the letter clearly showed it was from the Grumpy Old Mates, however the front only showed these strange numbers: 82D15A458 80CB6B03B403
