Created in 1986, the Conrad & Viola McGrew Nature Preserve sits sandwiched in between a residential area (on the east) and a commercial area (on the west). The 15 acre park is one of three Lawrence parks donated by John McGrew, who is the owner of McGrew Real Estate. The park, which was named after his parents, was donated along side the Kansa Southwind Nature Preserve in 1997. The Geocache is not on the residential side of the path SO DON’T LOOK THERE!!
