The refugee camp housed families of African American soldiers starting in 1864 during the Civil War. The property became the community of Ariel and later Hall. The Ariel Academy was founded here with the mission to train African American teachers. The cache is located near an abandoned church and you can park in a spot in front of the church. The cache is a lock in lock (not a preform). BYOP.
