Geocache Description:

yes FTF PPRDG0 yes

This cache relates to the Boche Buster a military gun mounted on the Elham Valley Railway during the Second World War.

Details of the history can be found at THIS  link .The gun was stored in the Bishopsbourne Tunnel and was also operated from a spur from the main line near Kingston. This cache brings you close to the location of the spur no longer visible from the ground. Probably best got at from the field side as it's a bit steep on the railway line side.

I will gradually add to this series but if anyone else who lives near other parts of the line wishes to do so please feel free.

This photo shows the spur camouflaged in 1940 (Google Earth/Kent County Council)
