Taking a drive on a country road, Eungella Dam is further on, well worth visiting.
As the roads are dirt remember to drive to prevaling conditions and you ability. A car can do this trip- when its been raining the roads can be more slippery. Trucks use this road daily
A minor turning point. Bink and you will miss it. We have on numerous occasions, when this was the destination.

This road is not maintained and traversing it will require a 4x4 at times, your know your car and your abilities. However if there has been significan rain its not advised- there is black soil and a creek to cross should you decide to head down this road. Check out this archived cache (GC1T226) for more information on the trip in. We have done it many times. If you plan to go on the Hazelwood Gorge walk/hike Please advise someone.
