YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! ESPORTS ISNT A REAL THING!! 2 yrs ago our son decided to adventure to Mizzou and joined the MIZZOU esports league on campus. We weren't sure what to think. Playing video games on campus for a scholarship and sanctioned by the school. It's pretty interesting, once you get past the whole video game thing. There are 5 kids per team and they travel to campuses over the Mid America region competing for two days at a time. Sometimes its even broadcast on Twitch. The thing that amazes me, is the boys are exhausted after. Sometimes don't eat while competing. A few boys have been known to fall asleep at the dinner table or pass out on their beds at the hotel. This year our son became the assistant strategic coach at Mizzou. So you ask, what does this have to about college and a degree. Well, he hopes to be a teacher in a high school and integrate an esports team in the school.
