About Sea Mills Station

Sea Mills station is on the Severn Beach Line and is run by Great Western Railway.
Service pattern is roughly two trains per hour between Avonmouth to Bristol Temple Meads, with trains extending to Severn Beach every two hours.
Opened as a single wooden platform in 1865 and doubled to two platforms in 1906, sadly in
1970 the line was made single and reduced to one platform due to fare rises and beeching cuts.d
Services have been improved over the years, and the line now has freight traffic too.
