Geocache Description:

A series that will not only introduce you to some of the dog parks around the mornington peninsula but we will also be sharing some fun facts and information about a different breed of dog for every cache in the series! Although they are numbered they don't have to be done in order. We have also got our resident expert, Ebony (Gnome5580s geodog!) Who will be giving each dog park a score of 1 to 5 paws depending on how much she approves of this park! 🐶 we hope you enjoy this series as much as Ebony had testing each of these parks out 😉 and on that note here is her opinion of this park:

Marshall street reserve

This isn't a bad little park in an out of the way part of tootgarook although it's not a very big park it does have a few trees for shade and a bit of seating but the seats are getting a bit old and wobbly and all in all this park could do with a little bit of TLC from the council so for that reason Ebony gives this park 4 out of 5 paws. There is also a nice little playground for the kids right next door and on a slight side note check out the house on the hill opposite the park and see what you think of the sculptures and statues that take up most of the property!

Our breed of choice for this cache is another very popular breed in Australia and is quite often crossed with several other breeds.

POODLE:

Poodles are regarded as one of the most intelligent breeds in the world. They’re highly trainable and well suited for just about any task you put them to–and you will want to give them tasks to do. Bored Poodles can get destructive if they aren’t physically and mentally stimulated. But active owners who can meet the Poodle’s needs will find a loving, smart, trainable, and loyal family companion.

The Poodle is a formal dog breed that comes in three varieties: Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle, and Toy Poodle. The origin of the breed is still discussed, with a prominent dispute over whether the poodle descends from Germany as a type of water dog, or from the French Barbet.

Hypoallergenic: Yes

Life expectancy: 12 – 15 years

Height: Toy Poodle: 24 – 28 cm, Miniature Poodle: 28 – 35 cm, Standard Poodle: 45 – 60 cm

Origin: Germany, France.

Temperament: Intelligent, Active, Alert, Faithful, Instinctual, Trainable

Colors: Black, White, Apricot, Cream, Sable, Black & White, Blue, Grey, Silver, Brown, Red

The Cache: You are searching for a 400ml sistema camouflaged to blend in with it's surroundings. There is plenty of room for small swaps and TBs. A big thank you to froglainey for creating our unique little container! Happy hunting! 🤠

Congratulations to Deepsky24 for FTF!
