I kept seeing this road on my way to work, and was curious: Why would anyone name their church Hades Church? So, I did some digging.
Punctuation matters.
It was originally Hade's Church, named after the Hade family, many of whom are buried behind the church. Somewhere along the line, the apostrophe was dropped. It's not the Church of Satan, it's the Church of the Brethren, with a very unlikely name.
