This cache will bring you to an area of land that is generally unused for any practical purpose. An extension of the Peninsula Link Freeway was proposed to pass through here taking you as far as Blairgowrie, however such developments have yet to come to fruition.
The area seems to be an extension of the reserves behind Eastbourne Primary School and the Seawinds Community Hub. The land stretches as far as the Sanctuary Park Reserve towards the Tootgarook wetlands.
Parking and access to the land is available via Wingara Drive and Currawong Court. Word of mouth from a local resident suggested efforts had been made to the council to develop the land, without success.
Access is also available via Boneo Rd at the roundabout, however this is not recommended as the majority of the fence is barbed wire, including private property signs.
The recommended trail head is a good point to start making your way to the cache. You're looking for a 750 ML screw top container.
