You may need a tool to coax the cache out, as the cap is tight to stop it from being washed out during the storms that hit the harbour.
A sneaky hidden container placed on the harbour (shocking I know). I asked the harbour master for permission to place a cache here, and he tried to talk me out of it due to the severity of storms that can happen here. I said I know how bad it can be, so he agreed. He also commented on an older cache that was on the opposite side of the harbour, saying it was once used to store drugs, and I then pulled out the nano container and said this is what I was thinking of placing. He stared at me in disbelief, thinking I was off my rocker, until I opened it up and showed him the log inside.
Again he pointed to the wall, to the picture capturing a huge wave crashing over the harbour wall, and said yes. Then he handed me a tide time book for the year, asked me to email the address on the front, and said it was amazing what people come up with.
So, that is how this cache came to be.
The cache has changed in time from the nano that kept getting washed away, then a tube with magnet attached kept getting washed up inside the pole. Then I had the bright idea of getting a cap for the pole and glued the cap of a petling tube inside and it hasn't gone missing since.
Please try to write an interesting log, instead of just TFTC, thanks, found or an emoji to state that you have found the cache.
The cache changed on the 22nd June 22, and is now in the black end cap of the handrail. You may need something to help it out of its hole, but please try not to damage it getting it out.
Please be stealthy during busy periods and please, try not to drop the cache.
