Geocache Description:


The cache is not at the posted coordinates!  You will, however, need to go to the posted coordinates and glean information to obtain coordinates to the next stage. Multiple stages will ultimately get you to the hiding place for the container. The posted coordinates bring you to a stone sign that represents those who provide public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen national security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

The next stages will take you to points paying tribute to the incredible sacrifice of those local lives lost in service to their country and ultimately to the location where you will need to find the cache container, part of it representing a material of great importance in World War I and World War II.

About the Stages and final location:

On all stages' coordinates, use letters' position in the alphabet (example: A=1, B=2, etc). The letters P through Y will instead be used as placeholders in each stage for the answers to a few simple math problems.

From the posted coordinates:
