This is a little used City of Mount Vernon trail that offers a nice walk with views of two ponds, a tree farm and fields. There are always plenty of birds to watch and listen to. This trail seems to be primarily used by folks coming from the nearby Skagit Valley RV Park for walking their pups and each other.
This multi has two waypoints and the final, which is an ammo can to start with. Waypoint 1 should be pretty straight forward. Cammo container that displays the WP2 coordinates. No need to try to open it. Waypoint 2 may be a little tricky, but is not intended to be too difficult. Cammo match holder.
There is abundant parking available near the trailhead. This is our first hide since moving to Mount Vernon in 2018. We enjoy finding out of the way spots in or near town that offer a walk and a full sized container. We hope you enjoy it as well.
