This cache is another nod to all of the wonderful improvements and additions being made to the walking/biking trails through Conway.
This is a great litte trail that follows a small creek, and the kids and I will often come by here to bike, or walk the dogs, or just look for turtles. With the recent addition to the northwest of the bridge over Dave Ward and the plans to extend the trail in the other direction out to Donaghey and beyond, the city of Conway just keeps on keepin' on, and I say all the power to them!
The cache itself is near a field by the trailhead, which is a nice little parking area tucked away in a residential neighborhood. We'll often see poeple in the field picnicking or playing with their dogs. My son also flies his drone out here sometimes.
This is not in any tough terrain, but not exactly a park and grab either. But since you're out here anyway, take a walk - and maybe even get some frozen custard down the way.
The cache has a log only, so bring a pen. Please be sure to place the cache back as you found it.
Bonus info: Fairly close to the GZ is a small area along the creek that has a seemingly endless supply of perfect skipping stones - but watch for ducks and turtles!.
Stay safe and enjoy!
Note: I had a cache in this general vicinity a few months ago that I archived after it got muggled. This is a similar hide with a few slight modifications; so even if you found the first, come on out and find this one!
