Because there is a new cache at Gallows Cove!
With 2020 being a Leap Year, and goodness knows what four years from now will bring (!), this geocache hider had to take the opportunity to have a cache hidden on February 29. Who knows - with almost 600 hides now, I may get to the point where I can get a cache hidden on every day of the calendar for y'all to find!
This new cache equates to essentially a park-n-grab, yet if you haven't found the nearby caches on the Father Troy Trail, there are many quality caches here come springtime when the non-winter friendly caches come available again.
The cache is a 250mL camo'd container, hidden on February 29, 2020, after the cumulative effects of winter 2019-20 and Snowmageddon. So know that if you come here at springtime, you may need to either leap for this leap day cache, or bring your Led Zeppelin-approved Gallows Pole to retrieve your prize.
