Geocache Description:

Please remember to cover back up so muggles can't see it. Start your approach at the Lock Controller's building. Looking for a regular size ammo can stocked with swag.  You'll encounter hikers and rock climbers in the summer season so please be stealthy**A unisex restroom islocated down below on the carpath about 1000ft westward from this GZ**
Moss Island was designated as a National Natural Landmark in 1976.    Although it's not technically a true island, it's claim to fame is the large glacial potholes that were formed in the rock during the melting of the last ice age due to gritty water swirling like toilet water on these rocks for thousands of years, which basically bored large smooth holes into the bedrock like a drill.
If you're up for some exploring, the North side of this island is where you'll find an abundance of these potholes, but PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HOLD YOUR CHILDREN'S HANDS while you're navigating these deep potholes.  There are plenty of dangerous crevices that can result in tragic fall of 15-20 feet, and the grounds of wet moss & leaves can make the edges slippery.
