Cultuur en Natuur in Loppem is een wandeling van een kleine 5 km met 12 trad’s. Fietsen zijn in het grootste deel van het kasteelpark verboden, dus die laat je best ook achter op de parkeerplaats. Bij nat weer kan het park vrij modderig zijn, dus zorg je best voor aangepast schoeisel.
Van hieruit zie je in de omwalde tuin van het kasteel het achthoekig theepaviljoentje in bruine baksteen, gebouwd in 1756. Dit is een overblijfsel van het vroegere adellijke landgoed van de familie de Potter. Dit landgoed werd afgebroken en een nieuw romantisch kasteel werd op dezelfde plaats gebouwd.

From this location you can see the walled garden of the castle, with the octagonal tea pavilion in brown brick built in 1756. This is a remnant of the former noble estate of the ´de Potter´ family. This estate was demolished and a new romantic castle was built in the same place.
