My friend and I grew up in this neighborhood. We used to play in the court from the minute we woke up until sunset. we had better been in the house before the street lights went on or a lecture followed about how nothing good happens after dark.
We spent lots of days in the court playing basketball, throwing rocks, catching butterflies and even getting a ticket for not wearing a helmet when I was 9.
So, welcome to my childhood playground!
Sad that kids don’t play outside anymore.
