Legs astride the Meridian Line at Greenwich to celebrate 20+2 years of Geocaching!
Meet on Saturday, 30th April, 2022 at 1pm for a 2 hour knees up in Greenwich Park at the ultimate set of coordinates; E/W000° 00.000 Longitude!
This Community Celebration Event celebrates 20 years (+2) of Geocaching, 12 years to the day when I organised the 10th anniversary 'Lost and Found' event in London, GC26PGT. Gather for an informal event on the hill at Greenwich Park. Bring your picnic hamper and spend the entire afternoon in this glorious royal park with the views of Greenwich and the rest of London beyond. Nearby is a cafe should you want to grab some food and drinks while in the park. For us cachers, this place is where east meet west - we will have a fun game of 'tug-of-war' across the meridian line against cachers from the easterly verses cachers from westerly hemispheres!
