Community Celebration Event of Events

 

This event is in celebration of 20 (now 22) years of Geocaching. It was supposed to be hosted in 2020 but due to COVID, it was delayed.

 

smiley  Those that attend will recieve a Special Community Celebration Event Souvenir in their profile  smiley

 

We picked this location because it is where we held our very first Geocaching Event back in 2006. The Event will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM.

We can all share our favorite event stories from decades gone past!

We will have 

  • Geo-Bingo (with prizes)
  • Geocaching Trivia (with prizes)
  • Different and unsual cache containers (bring your own if you have them and would like to show them off).
  • Geoclasses for the newbies

Tips:

  • On types of caches
  • Placement of caches strategies (Do and Don'ts)
  • Succesful TB launching and longevity
  • Advanced GXRs hints and tips

 

For this event we will be providing:

  • Hot Dogs and accompaning condiments
  • Chips
  • Water and Ice
  • Paper Plates and Cups along with Plastic ware
  • A Special Event Cake
  • All except the cake will be served throughout the event as needed, Cake will be served at 4 PM

If possible, please RSVP so we can get an idea of how many people are coming (total number in your party/group).
