A picnic in South Oxfordshire in the Summer.
Blewbury, which is part of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, was within the County of Berkshire until the boundary changes of 1974, when it was moved to Oxfordshire. The settlement developed around ancient springs. There are several caches within walking distance of Blewbury.
Tokers Folly Field is a large field with a children’s play area. We hope to be on the long picnic bench. There is a lot of grass, so cachers may wish to bring picnic chairs or rugs. If it rains, you’ll need a brolly as the village hall is some distance away. Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities in Tokers Folly Field, but there are facilities for customers at the cafe across the road at the garden centre.
