What better way to Celebrate 20 (now 22) years of Geocaching than paying homage to the Container Swap.
Gathering of Geocachers to Celebrate Geocaching as a Community.
Chips, cake, and water will be provided, if you would like to bring something to add to the table to share that would be great, if not that is okay too.
Geocachers always are in need of a good unique container. Through the years a container swap has been one of the mainstay activities held at Fall Fling. To honor that long standing tradition please bring a container to swap and everyone leaves with a parting gift of a new container to hide in a place of their choosing.
Container swap (optional). Try to be creative. Please bring a container in a large brown grocery bag, even it is small container please use the large bag. Please bring something you might like to find yourself, and we will have a random blind container swap. How will this work? To keep things on an equal and fair footing the exchange will work as follows.
1. Each bag will be assigned a number.
2. Each participant will then choose a number from a bag.
3. The number chosen will correspond to a bag.
4. The container in the bag with your number will be your new container.
5. After all containers are retrieved you are welcome to trade amongst yoursleves if you so choose.
(Falcon Park Shelter is reserved until - 2pm)
Thank you to NCGO for their financial support of this event.
