Come join the Southeastern Massachusetts Geocachers in our 81st monthly meet & greet as we watch the reel of films entered into the 2021 Geocaching International Film Festival contest. This event is generously coordinated and sponsored by the joint efforts of the Swansea Public Library and the Swansea Recreation Commission. It is also a Community Celebration Event!
SEMAG Meet & Greet #81 - GIFF Movie Night 2021
Where: Swansea Community Center, 260 Ocean Grove Avenue, Swansea, MA 02777
(this is the former St. Michael's Church so yes, the Community Center looks like a church)
ACCESSIBILITY: The event will be held in the basement of the Community Center because the town is limiting 1st floor events to the senior center. There is an elevator available for anyone who cannot use the stairs. Look for signs to access the elevator.
Date: Saturday, November 20th
Time: 5:30 - 8 P.M.
Additional Info: A list of the films can be found here. The event officially begins at 5:00, with the showing of the films beginning at 6, and the whole thing wrapping up at 8. You can stay for as long as you'd like, and you are not obligated to watch any of the films, nor is there any cost of admission.
If anyone would like to help set up, we'll be there around 4:30. Help with clean up after the event would also be greatly appreciated.
As always, donations of raffle prizes, snacks and drinks are also appreciated. Due to COVID concerns, please have all snacks and drinks individually wrapped.
