This is an event to celebrate the MAKERS in our geocaching community for all their hard work in designing and making caches, swag, and more!
You can bring items you've made to show and tell, or bring items you'd like to sell or trade with others. But of course this is a free event and no purchase is necessary!
This event will be a little picnic on the deck and in the back yard at my home. I will be bringing some Chik-fil-a. If weather is good, we can be outside. If weather is bad, we can move it inside. You can bring any items you want to showcase or share or trade. Or just show up to hang out with other cachers.
Feel free to bring a dessert to share.
Kids are welcome.
Parking is on the street in the neighborhood.
I am setting the time from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. You can feel free to stop in quickly and say hi and get a smiley, or you can stay a long while.
There are several caches in the area, including a neighborhood path right next to my neighborhood along Cattail Branch.
Please note, my home has cats, so although they will be on a separate floor, if you have a cat allergy I would recommend staying in the outside portion of the event.
I was really excited back in 2020 to be given a Community Celebration Event. Then COVID hit and I had to postpone, so I'm grateful to be able to bring this to life!
