Geocache Description:

31 December 2022, 12:00 - 14:00

Darksky1's Call of the Compass: Community Celebration Event
Linton, Indiana
Humphrey's Park East Shelter House
December 31, 2022 - 12:00-2:00pm EST

This event is named in honor of Darksky1 who unfortunately passed away November 3 of this year. He was a great friend and hider, and always enjoyed hiding or finding creative geocaches. Everyone is invited to Humphrey Park in Linton, Indiana to hang out and meet fellow geocachers. Cachers are encouraged to bring any creative containers that you would love to share or discuss. Depending on how many people express interest in attending, I may provide pizza, and if anyone else would like to bring food or drinks to provide, please post a note on the page. Alternately there are many nearby food places if you'd like to bring your own.

Event runs from 12-2:00 pm EST at the East Shelter House at the park. It is enclosed and heated, and there will be ample tables and chairs. Feel free to bring swag or trackables to share or drop off. Attendees are not required to stay the entire duration of the event and may arrive or leave at any time.
