Come out to Friendswood's Old City Park to celebrate geocaching! Time is running out to attend a Community Celebration Event -- once yearend is here these special events will be gone! These events are to celebrate 20 years of geocaching, so come on out if you haven't been to one yet and earn a special icon for attending.
We will meet at the picnic tables under the pavilion. Bring your stories to share, your trackables to swap or discover, and gather together with a group of like minded people to have some fun! There is a ping pong table nearby. Let me know if you're interested in participating in a round robin tournament.
Old City Park is a nice under used park that also has a dog park (for large and small dogs), a small children's playground and one stage of an Adventure Lab. There is also a bridge connecting the park to Stevenson's Park where you will find a large children's play area, a fairy trail, basketball court, volleyball courts, a splash pad, the city pool, a few caches and more stages of several different Adventure Labs.
