5:30 to 7:30 PM at A. Hardy Eubanks Jr. Park in McKinney, TX
TX Cronins have been playing this game for a long time. They found their first cache on May 8, 2011, and started a daily caching streak on December 31st of that year, which means that December 30th, 2021 will mark 10 years from the point when they started that streak. Overall, provided nothing happens between now and then, they will have found a geocache every day for 3653 consecutive days, since their streak includes three "leap days".
Anyone who has tried to maintain a streak for any point of time knows how challenging it can be. There have been close calls. A memorable one included being stuck in a parking garage after a concert and still managing to somehow find a cache less than 10 minutes before midnight. There were days with one cache find after double digit DNFs. But, they somehow manage to sign a log every day.
The streak has included many memorable caches, including their 5000th cache at a phone booth in Celina, TX, and caches as far away as San Diego, Seattle, Maine, and Tampa, as well as a few in Canada and Mexico.
Their first cache in the streak was in Possum Kingdom State Park as a part of the 2011 Texas State Park Challenge, but their first cache find ever (and mine too, since I was a part of the team for the first two-and-a-half years) was hidden not too far away. 671 feet away from this event, to be exact.
