Come One Come All !!!!
We are (finally) having the Community Celebration Event I was awarded in 2019 to celebrate 20 years of Geocaching. it will be on Sunday, August 14th from 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM at Old Poway Park. Immediately following the event is an optional free concert in the park featuring the Big Band sound of the Pomerado Community Band from 5:30 Pm - 7:00 PM, for those who wish to stay.
First a word about the event site: there's plenty of room for social distancing. It will be outdoors in Old Poway Park next to Templer's Hall and the Gazebo. Lots of parking is available in the surrounding area with a short walk to the tables.
There are picnic tables and a BBQ. Feel free to bring your own dinner or supplies to make your dinner. A good idea would be to bring your favorite folding chair or blanket.
We will have a Trackable exchange and discovery table. There may even be a few geocaching type games. Mainly, this is a chance to get out and mingle with your fellow geocachers again.
