The Event!
If you have ever cache with me, you know that I love to take photos of our adventures! So, when I was trying to think of what I could do for my CCE, someone suggested a photo scavenger hunt and I thought it was a great idea!
So, come and join us for what is bound to be one of the last Community Celebration Events of 2022 (And possibly, ever 😱!!). We will hand out sheets with your photo targets listed. Your job is to take a photo with either yourself, or a sign with your geonick of the items listed! Everything listed will be findable in a relatively small radius (about 4 blocks square - a map is below). We will be raffling off some fun prizes when it's done! You can either walk from point to point, or move your car. Every photo you take will get you closer to earning a raffle ticket for the prize drawing, so get as many as you can!
Participation in the Photo Scavenger Hunt is optional.
Here are some tips for a successful time at the event!
- Bring comfortable walking shoes
- This event will be rain or shine, so bring umbrellas/rain gear if it looks like it will rain!
- This event will be hot or cold! Dress appropriately!
- Don't forget your camera!
- If you have a clipboard, it will be VERY handy
- If you would like to just hang out at the event site, that is fine too! Note that there is limited seating, so you may want to bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on.
- You must return no later than 1:30 PM to submit your entries for the raffle
Here is a schedule for the event:
- 11:30 AM: Welcome. Overview of the scavenger hunt
- 11:40 AM; Hunt starts! Good luck!
- 1:30 PM: All hunters must return to submit their completed photos
- 1:45 PM: Raffle drawing (You must be present to win)
