This cache was placed in Westside Park to coincide with the "Happy Trails To You" event. This event took place to say farewell to LePape and his wife, who will not be returning to the valley as Winter Texans. These two have placed many amazing caches in this area and the RGV geocachers wish them all the best in their future adventures.
This is a lovely free park in McAllen with picnic shelters, play areas, a ballpark and walking trails to enjoy nature. Please be aware the park is closed from 11PM to 6AM.
