Geocache Description:

I had heard of Mormon Island before but knew nothing about it or its historic significance until I found these 2 plaques while searching for spots to hide my shark series. I thought a multi-cache that brought people here to learn about it as I did would be fun and educational.

The final is located somewhere nearby, but first you must visit the two virtual locations and get answers from the plaques.

The cache is located at N38 41.ABC W121 07.XYZ

On plaque 1 (N38 41.951, W121 07.654)

X. Final digit of the year in which the town burned down?

Y. Plaque was placed on September 1_, 1957.

Z. Final digit of the plaque number (directly below "Daughters of Utah Pioneers)

On plaque 2 (N38 41.841, N38. 07.606)

A. What is the last digit in the Historical Landmark number?

B. What is the most common digit on the final line of the plaque?

C. What is the third digit of the first year mentioned on the plaque?

This area is paid parking as it is a state park. I added a parking waypoint for the nearest free parking.
