A great piece of public sculpture, kinetic, rusty and comes complete with bells and whistles. It was designed by Robb Hicks and Keith Newstead in 2013. It emerges from its plinth in billows of steam. This only happens at 1 o'clock every day so try and be there to see the Flyer in all its glory. You can also see it while it sleeps by peeping through the windows into its shed.
