Geocache Description:

There is abundant wildlife to see while paddling the Sammamish River. Herons are one of the bigger and majestic of them. On my trip to place this cache at dusk, I noticed at least two. They often sit very still and wait for small fish to snatch. If you are very patient and can glide very quietly, you can get pretty close and watch them. Ducks and other water fowl are prevelant here as well as beaver which you can catch glimpses of around dusk. Please include any wildlife sightings in your logs.

Cache is a larger sized preform bottle attached to a tree branch protruding on the east bank. There is a pencil provided if you wish to use that.

I DNNTGOOTB (SMuddT conventions) cache was placed at about head height while sitting in my kayak. Your results may vary. Please excersize care while retrieving the cache, both for the safety and longevity of the cache, but of yourself and others you convince to come with you.

PS I almost always pick up trash while I'm out. I picked up a dozen tennis balls, two plastic bottles and some foam packing peanuts. Of course I lost half the tennis balls before I got out!!

Congrats to DM&K for the wet and chilly winter FTF!
