Geocache Description:

Along the Ohio River this cache is placed in one of my favorite view points, Lewis and Clark's Expedition trail. In the Fall of 1803, Lewis, Clark and their expedition crew passed through Golconda, formerly known as Sarahsville (was changed to Golconda in 1817). At the time, there was very few residents, and Lusk's Ferry located nearby, at the mouth of the river. While you're in Golconda, we have an Audio Tour of the history of our town, a Musuem filled with lots of Golconda and Pope County's history, and some of the best local restraurants to eat at.

Cache is magnetic key holder, no room for trade items. *BYOP*

and as always, stealth required, high traffic area watch for muggles!!!
