Even many lifetime Panama City residents are not aware that Panama City has an ordinance requiring all pizza joints located within two blocks of US Hwy 98 to be named after professional wrestlers.
We all know that Enzo Amore is best known for his partnership with Big Cass in WWE, where they won the NXT Year-End Award for Tag Team of the Year in 2015. Enzo Amore debuted on the main roster on the Raw after Wrestlemania 32, where he and Big Cass confronted The Dudley Boyz, followed by The Ascension a week later, and again the Dudley Boyz in the semi-finals of the tag team tournament, advancing them to the finals. But in what can only be described as an American tragedy, Enzo Amore suffered a concussion (a real one) duing the finals against the Vaudevillains, resulting in a draw, Later, Enzo and Cass had their day-- teaming wth John Cena to defeat The Club in a six-man tag team match.
Wrestling isn't Enzo Amore's only talent. Under the stage name Real1, he began pursuing a career as a rapper in 2018 releasing an album titled Rosemary's Baby Pt. 1: Happy Birthday.
In his WWE days, Enzo was known for his pre-match tagline-- "My name is Enzo Amore, and I'm a certified G, and a bona fide stud and you can't teach that! Bada Boo, realest guys in the room!"
Then there is Razor Ramon, the most well-known ring name of Scott Hall. Scott Hall is also known as the Diamond Studd, the Starship Coyote, and Texas Scott. (Long-term Panama City residents may remember the pizza joint named Diamond Studd located where the Gold Nugget is now.)
Razor Ramon is a four time WWF Intercontinental Champion, a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, a one-time WCW World Television Champion, and a nine-time world tag team champion (seven times in WCW, once in TNA, and once in the AWA. He is a also a two-time world champion, having won the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship and the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, and will be inducted a second time in 2020 as a founding member of the New World Order, with teammates Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman.
Ramon's ladder match in Wrestlemania X agaisnt Shawn Michaels was the first WWF match to receive a five star rating from Dave Meltzer in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and is ranked No. 5 of the top matches in Wrestlemania history.
